The Pocher line of models can best be described as some of the finest automobile kits ever produced. When properly finished they are works of art and many are on display in museums. Well assembled kits are sought out by collectors for display in private collections. These are serious model kits and are not for someone without the required resources in time and patience to see the assembly process to the end. Many Pocher kits have been put away, in various stages of completion, after failed attempts at assembly. The people who usually succeed at completing a Pocher project use the kits as a base for the finished project. A whole industry has been built up, over the years, to supply detail parts and provide assembly information. Some people have published books on the subject, and some have uploaded information to the web of their completed or ongoing project. Below is a listing of kits, with pricing and availability, and a brief description of the car and the number of pieces in each. Kits are available in kit form and built-up. All built-ups are painted to customer specification and include many detailing accessories custom fabricated out of brass and aluminum manufactured in the Precision Scale Replica shop and from outside sources. |
